About Sabrina

Sabrina Schubert is a versatile lyric soprano, currently pursuing her Master of Music in Voice Performance at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from the Oberlin Conservatory in May 2025, with an additional concentration in Arts Administration and Leadership.

Most recently, she performed the role of Marcellina in Le Nozze di Figaro with Prague Summer Nights. Other notable operatic credits include Arminda in La Finta Giardiniera, Noemie in Cendrillon, and Emmie in Albert Herring with Oberlin Opera Theater, as well as Flora in The Turn Of The Screw with the Trentino Music Festival. Sabrina has also performed in multiple opera scenes, portraying roles such as Adina in L’elisir D’Amore, Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi, Gretel in Hansel und Gretel, and Zerlina in Don Giovanni.

Sabrina has performed in distinguished venues both in the United States and abroad, including four appearances at Carnegie Hall in New York City, and a performance at the Haus der Industrie in Vienna.

In addition to her classical vocal training, Sabrina brings a strong foundation in musical theatre, further demonstrating her versatility as a performer.

As an arts administrator, Sabrina has held roles as both a stage manager and an assistant director. Most recently, she served as the stage manager for two one-act plays, The Recovery and The 39 Steps, produced at Oberlin College in the spring. In addition to her stage management duties, she operated both the lighting and sound boards for these productions. She also worked as the assistant director for Oberlin Opera Theater’s first Outreach Opera Tour of Jack and the Beanstalk, which brought live opera performances to elementary schools throughout Ohio.
